Migration and technical redevelopment of a large WooCommerce pharmacy store, including 8,000+ product migration, WoodMart implementation, competitor product scraping, inventory integration, performance, and operational improvements.
Asam Daroo is a large WooCommerce-based online pharmacy project that required a major technical migration and a series of improvements to its e-commerce infrastructure. The existing website was running on the Digiland theme and needed to be migrated to WoodMart while preserving the store’s existing product and business data. A key part of the project was migrating more than 8,000 products to the new theme environment without losing existing product data. The migration had to preserve the operational store structure while allowing the frontend and WooCommerce experience to move to the new implementation. Beyond the theme migration, a product scraping system was developed to collect competitive product information from other pharmacy websites, including platforms such as Darukade. This provided a more structured way to work with external product information instead of handling competitor data manually. The store was also connected to the pharmacy’s inventory management workflow. Inventory-related functionality was developed to synchronize the online store with the pharmacy’s stock management system and reduce the separation between physical inventory operations and WooCommerce. Additional e-commerce systems included marketing-related functionality and custom shipping cost calculation. The project also included three months of technical support, during which performance issues, security-related problems, and operational website issues were reviewed and resolved. The final result was not simply a theme replacement. The project combined a large-scale WooCommerce migration with product data preservation, scraping automation, inventory integration, shipping logic, and post-launch technical stabilization for an active online pharmacy.
